Meaghan Fukunaga bio photo

Meaghan Fukunaga I'm the Digital Projects manager at the Indianapolis Public Library. I've been working in this field for over 10 years now and have a Masters of Information Science from the University of Michigan. I have been with IndyPL since 2015, which is also when I moved to this city. I've lived all over the place including Wisconsin, Massachusetts, and Hawai'i. I love all of our collections, but one of my favorite images is from the Indianapolis Public School collection.

Victoria Duncan bio photo

Victoria Duncan I have been Digital Projects Coordinator at the Indianapolis Public Library since 2016. I have an Master of Library Science from Indiana University specializing in rare books and manuscripts and have worked at the Lilly Library in Bloomington and the Fales Library & Special Collections at New York University. I have also worked in the antiquarian book trade. I am as passionate about preserving physical collections as I am about digital preservation and access, though nothing is as rewarding as making an item readily available to people around the world! My favorite part of our collections are the Dance Kaleidoscope costumes.

Katie Farmer bio photo

Katie Farmer I am a part-time public services associate and spend most of my time at the Decatur Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library. I am a native Hoosier and received my Bachelor's degree from Ball State University in 2012. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Library and Information Science at IUPUI. I have been working and volunteering in public libraries for more than fifteen years, with almost ten of those spent at IndyPL. I am passionate about the services the library offers-- especially in the form of our digital collections. I am most familiar with the Indiana Firefighters Museum Collection and encourage you to explore it!

William Knauth bio photo

William Knauth I am the Metadata Specialist for the Digital Indy project at the Indianapolis Public Library. I am starting my second year at this position and joined the Digital Projects team in July of 2017. I have had previous positions in a variety of digital cultural heritage roles including working on a digital preservation network at ISU, and working in the UNC Asheville Special Collections. I earned my Library and Information Science master's degree in 2016 from UNC Chapel Hill. I relocated to Indiana in 2016, and to Indianapolis in the summer of 2017. Out of the many great items in our collection I am most fond of the images of historic architecture from around Indianapolis, with this colorized postcard of the Athenaeum Building being my favorite thing.

Beth Franklin bio photo

Beth Franklin I grew up here in Indianapolis and received my Masters of Library Science from IUPUI. After fifteen years with Indianapolis Public Library as a Cataloger, I am continuing my work on the digital collections as a contractor. Choosing a favorite object or collection is difficult but I especially enjoyed working on the May Wright Sewall papers and the Irvington Oral Histories. I learned so much about my home town!
