Nipper, athletic director. The books will sell tor $4 and wlU be good for the following home games: November 24—Brazil November 28—Ft. Wayne (S. Side) December 5—Ben Davis December 18—Tech, which is at the Tech gym January 6—Tipton January 8—Martinsville January 20—Attucks, which will be at Butler January 30—Southport February 19—CrawfordsvlUe. By buying these season books, fans wUl save 50c and have first choice for sectional tickets. Game times are varsity, 8 p.m., and the reserve play-at 6:30 p.m. Hobby Club to Plan Family Frolic Exhibit Plans for the Family Frolic exhibit will be made at the Hobby club meeting this afternoon In room 110-A. The exhibit wUl feature an HO gauge model train layout. An amateur radio station and a display of model airplanes and cars will also be included. Student Board Returns •Shots' During Homeroom The Student Board ls delivering the student pictures to everyone today during homeroom period, according to Luanne Morris, president. The group met second period In Caleb Mills Hall to receive Instructions concerning the delivery of these pictures. Students can buy 24 chums and two 3x5 photos for $2. The pictures may be taken home; however, Luanne would prefer that they be kept In school. "If a student does not want to buy any, the envelope must be re turned to the Student Board repre sentatlve," she said. Y-Teens to Appear On Christmas Telecast Plans were made Thursday for a Christmas program to be presented on television Christmas Eve by the Shortridge Y-Teens. Members have volunteered for choir and speaking parts of the ceremony, which will be broadcast from the YWCA. Meetings of the Y-Teens will be held In room 324 the first and third Wednesday of each month with the next meeting to be held December 3. Rubin Added David Rubin, a freshman, sur passed the 20-inch mark for copy published in the Echo. He is now a reporter on Tuesday's Echo staff. 259 STUDENTS SIGN FOR BOOSTER MEMBERSHIP Thursday 259 students paid their 25-cent dues and became members of this year's Booster club, according to Letha Bolles, chairman of the organization. Members of the Booster committee gave yellow Identification cards to the members. Boosters were told to attend all the games, wear white blouses or shirts, blue scarfs, or letter sweaters. The following 259 students wUl sit together in a roped-off section at games and will yell loudly with the cheerleaders. Cuts, which will last through November 25, will be held in Caleb Mills Hall after School each afternoon. Eight acts are vying for the annual Junior production. Rupp, an English teacher at Shortridge' for 35 years, died Sunday, November 16, in Methodist Hospital. Miss Rupp retired from teaching January 1, 1943? and was named an honorary lirif member of the Federation of Indianapolis Public School teachers. Miss Rupp was born In Indian-* * apolis. She attended Indianapolis- grade schools, Butler College, four years, and received an £J m 18^5- She also attended Chicago University and Indiana University TOr a total of one year, and Butler College Extension classes. Miss Rupp taught German and history whUe at Shortridge beginning in 1907 and retiring In 1943. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in Flanner - Buchanan Mortuary.
